Campuses lists the physical sites that make up your school, for example a main campus and an annex across town. Admissions, fees and staff stay shared across all campuses. Only classes belong to a particular campus.
- Where School → Campuses
- Who can use it Anyone whose role includes Campuses. Other screens can still read the campus list to fill their campus pickers.
- Set up first School Setup
Add a campus
- Click Add Campus.
- Type the Campus Name, for example Main Campus or Kasoa Annex. This is the only required field.
- Optionally add a Phone, Email and Address.
- Click Save Campus. You return to the list.
The cards at the top show Total Campuses and Classes Assigned (how many classes have been put on a campus).
Put classes on a campus
You don’t assign classes here. Open Streams & Classes, edit a class and choose its Campus (optional). The Classes column in the campus list then counts it.
Once classes have campuses, many lists elsewhere in the app can be filtered by campus.
Edit or delete a campus
- Click the pencil next to a campus to change its details, then Save Campus.
- Click the bin and confirm to delete it.
You can’t delete a campus that still has classes on it. Move those classes to another campus (or to No specific campus) in Streams & Classes first.
Good to know
- A single-site school doesn’t need any campuses. Classes work fine with no campus set.
- Admissions, students, staff and fees are shared across all campuses. Only classes are given a campus.
- Campuses are not separate schools. To run a completely separate school with its own records, a Super Admin adds a new school in School Setup.
