The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It gives a quick picture of the school: students, fees, attendance, exams and recent activity, plus shortcuts to the screens you use most. What appears depends on your role.

- Who can use it Everyone who can sign in to the app. Teachers get their own version (see below).
Choose the time period
Under Show figures for, pick Today, This week, This month, This term or This year. The tiles, charts and class ranking update in place, and the dates covered are written underneath. The app remembers your choice for next time. This term is the starting choice.
If no term has started yet, This term shows the current month instead and says (no term has started yet).
Tip: If your role includes Analytics, click Full analytics → to open the same period in Analytics.
The four headline tiles

| Total Students | Active students right now, and how many joined in the chosen period. |
| Fees Collected | Receipts recorded in the period, compared with the period before. For a term or year, the ring shows the collection rate on that period’s invoices. Cancelled receipts are not counted. |
| Attendance Rate | The share of register marks that were “present” in the period, compared with the period before. It shows a dash if no registers were taken. |
| Active Classes | The number of classes, and how many were added in the period. |
Arrows show whether a figure went up or down against the earlier period. When there’s nothing earlier to compare with, the tile says so instead of showing a misleading change.
Charts and panels
- Enrollment Trend: new students per day, week or month across the period.
- Attendance Trend: the attendance rate across the period.
- Financial Performance: fees collected across the period.
- Recent Activities: the latest admissions, new students, payments and attendance, with how long ago each happened.
- Top Performing Classes: classes ranked by attendance rate for the period.
- Fee Collection Summary: expected fee totals by fee type, with the overall Collection Rate.
Today’s Operations
These cards are always about today or the recent past, whatever period you chose:
- Attendance Today: present, absent and the rate from today’s registers.
- Discipline (Last 30 Days): incidents recorded in the last 30 days.
- Exam Periods by Status: how many exam periods are in draft, under moderation, published and so on.
- Mark-Entry Completion: how much of each open exam’s marks have been entered.
At the bottom, Quick Actions gives one-click shortcuts such as Add Student, Record Receipt and Mark Attendance. You only see shortcuts to screens your role can open.
Your own cards
If your login is linked to a staff record, extra cards about you appear near the top:
- My attendance today, with a Clock in or Clock out button. See Staff Attendance.
- Lesson note and appraisal cards, when you have something to write or review.
- My documents: files in your own HR record.
What teachers see
When your login is linked to a teaching staff record, the dashboard opens with My Teaching: My Classes, today’s attendance for your classes, discipline incidents in your classes over 30 days, and My Mark Entry (for example 2 of 3 class subjects entered).
You also get your My attendance today card (clock in or out, or Scan gate QR), your lesson notes for next week, and shortcuts to your own screens.
The school-wide figures (students, enrolment, attendance trends, recent activity, top classes) are only for roles that include Analytics, such as Admin and Head Teacher. A Teacher role sees only their own dashboard. If your role does include Analytics, they appear below under Across the School.
If My Classes says you are not assigned yet, ask an administrator to assign your subjects and classes in Teaching Staff.
If you see Your login isn’t linked to your staff record yet, your classes can’t show. Ask the administrator to click Link Login on your record in HR → Staff. See Logins for staff and parents.
Good to know
- The dashboard is read-only. To change anything, use the shortcut or the module in the sidebar.
- The school-wide figures are worked out for the whole school you’re signed in to, not just your campus.
- Fee figures (fees collected, collection rate, payment activity) are shown only to roles that include Finance, Payments or the Billing Dashboard.
- A Super Admin with several schools sees the figures for whichever school is currently selected.
