Attendance is the daily class register. You pick a class and a date, tap anyone who isn’t present, and save. The same screen shows today’s figures and a log of recent marks you can filter.

Take the register
- Click Mark Attendance.
- Choose the Class, for example Basic 4. The Date starts on today; change it if you’re catching up on another day.
- The roster loads with every active student marked Present.
- Tap Absent, Late or Excused next to anyone who isn’t present. The counts above the list update as you go, so you can check them against the heads in the room.
- Click Save Attendance. A message says how many students were saved.
You stay on the register after saving, so you can fix a wrong tap and save again.
The four marks
| Mark | Use it when |

| Present | The student is in class. |
| Absent | The student is away without permission. |
| Late | The student arrived after the register was taken. |
| Excused | The student is away with permission, for example a hospital visit. |
Correct a mark
Open Mark Attendance again and choose the same class and date. The roster loads with the marks already saved for that day. Change what you need and click Save Attendance. Each student keeps one mark per day, so saving again replaces the old mark rather than adding a second one.
Tip: Students marked present with a QR card in Attendance QR already show as Present here. Taking the register afterwards only changes the ones you tap.
Today’s figures and the log
The cards at the top show how many students have been marked today, how many are present and absent, and today’s attendance rate (present out of everyone marked).
The Attendance Log below lists recent marks. Narrow it with Filter by Class and Filter by Date. If your school has more than one campus, Filter by Campus appears too.
Good to know
- Only students whose status is active and who are in the chosen class appear on the roster.
- The log shows up to 100 rows at a time. Filter by class or date to find older marks.
- Late counts as not present in today’s rate, because the rate only counts Present marks.
- The app doesn’t stop you saving a register for a weekend or holiday, so check the date before you save.
- Saved attendance feeds the attendance line on Report Cards and the figures in Analytics.
