View and print a class’s results

  1. Choose the Exam Period, for example Term 1 Exams 2026.
  2. Choose the Class, for example JHS 2. The ranked list appears, with the class average, highest and lowest totals in the cards above.
  3. Click Print Results Sheet to print it. The printout carries your school’s logo, name and address, and leaves out the menus and cards.

What each column means

ColumnMeaning
PositionRank in the class by total. Equal totals share a position, so you may see 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th.
SubjectsHow many subjects have a saved score for this student.
TotalAll the student’s subject totals added together (each subject is out of 100).
Average %Total divided by the number of subjects.
Overall GradeOnly shown if your school prints an overall grade (see below).
AggregateA BECE- or WASSCE-style aggregate, when one can be worked out. Lower is better.

Each subject total is the weighted CA plus the weighted exam mark, as described in CA Setup.

The Overall Grade column appears when Print an overall grade on report cards is ticked in School Setup. It is the average of the student’s subject totals, leaving out any subjects the school chose to exclude, graded on the exam’s grading scale.

How the aggregate is worked out

An aggregate needs at least six subjects with scores. Core and elective subjects come from Class Subjects.

  • Numeric scale (BECE style, 1–9): every core subject’s grade counts, topped up with the best elective grades to make six. A student can’t skip a weak core subject.
  • Letter scale (WASSCE style, A1–F9): English and Mathematics always count, plus the best other core subject and the best three electives. Every grade must be in the A1–F9 form, otherwise no aggregate is shown.

Example: Efua Boateng has core grades 2, 1, 3 and 2, and electives 4, 1 and 5. Her aggregate is 2 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 4 = 13.

Good to know

  • Results are worked out fresh each time from the saved scores. There’s nothing to “compute” or save here.
  • A student appears once they have a saved score in at least one subject. A student whose row was left completely blank in Score Entry has no score for that subject, so it doesn’t pull their total down as a 0 would.
  • Results show the class the scores were entered under, so last term’s results still show after Promotion. Report cards, however, follow each student’s current class.
  • This screen shows results whatever the exam period’s status. Parents only see them once the period is published.
